Angola L1 Boot Camp

On behalf of the presenters and myself, we would like to welcome you to beautiful Angola, Indiana for a judge conference! This conference will focus on the skills required to run successful events.

Venue and start time

The conference will be held in Angola, Indiana at Gauntlet Food and Games 909 West Maumee street suite D.

Check in will be between 10-11AM and the program will begin promtly at 1100AM. There will be a lunch break from 1-2PM.

Attendance and foil support

As a thank you to the judge program, Wizards of the Coast allows us to offer attendees a selection of promotional foil cards, proportional to the number of seminars attended. Attendance will be capped to 15 judges. In the event that more than 15 apply, selections will be based on the target audience (L1s wishing to become L2s in the area). Attendees whose applications are accepted will recieve a selection of judge foils pending the completion of a brief survey on site. Unfortunately, we cannot extend foil support to judges who apply after the August 16th deadline or judge candidates who have not yet certified, although members of these groups are welcome to attend. L1 testing may be available, please contact Michael Smith  prior to the event through judgeapps.

1) 1110- 1200: Regular REL Knowledge - Running an 8 player draft, 30-60 player Prerelease event, 8-24 player constructed event with David Elden.

2) 1210-100: Diplomacy Knwoledge - Resolving tense situations roleplay with Randy Tice.

Lunch Break 100-200

3) 205-255: Rules and Policy Knowledge - Giving rulings roleplays with Patrick Cobley

4) 305-355: Judge Technology Knowledge - JudgeApps, WER, and DQ procedures with Travis Traxler.

5) 405-? Judge Program Knowledge - open Q&A ask any question! All staff members are on "stage" to help answer your questions!

 We will have games available afterwards for all that want to stay and play!
