Michigan L1 Bootcamp Mini-Conference

I am pleased to announce the Michigan Judge Mini-Conference of 2017, hosted in Fenton, MI. This mini-conference is capped at 15 attendees (foil supported) and will be focused on solidifying L1 knowledge.

What is this Mini-Conference about?
The focus of tihs conference is on L1 knowledge and making sure they have the tools they need to run great tournaments. Some areas that will be covered are running tournaments at Regular REL, diplomacy knowledge, rules and policy knowledge, and how the Judge program is setup.

Who can attend?
This mini-conference is open to any Level 1 who desires to strengthen their knowledge and become a better L1. While L0s can't be foil supported this should be a great opportunity for them to gain valuable knowledge of the Judge program and connect with other judges from the area! 

Where/When is it?
This mini-conference will be hosted at BC Comix of Fenton in Fenton, MI on Saturday, August 12th at Noon. While only 15 attendees can be foil supported everyone is welcome to come.

Agenda

12-1pm: Check in and socialize with your fellow judges

1) 1-1:50pm: Regular REL Knowledge - Running an 8 player draft, 30-60 player Prerelease event, 8-24 player constructed event with David Elden.

2) 2-2:50pm: Diplomacy Knowledge - Resolving tense roleplay situations with Zachary DeLadurantaye.

Afternoon Break 2:50-3pm

3) 3-3:50pm: Rules and Policy Knowledge - Ruling roleplays with Andy Doyle.

4) 4-4:50pm: Judge Technology Knowledge - JudgeApps, WER, and DQ procedures with Arthur Edson.

5) 5-6pm: Judge Program Knowledge - A Q&A where you can ask the presenters questions you have about the Judge program.
