England Nationals 2017!

Hello Judges, for those of you who don't know me, I am Imogen Tilley a Level 2 currently based in Reading and I will be the Judge Manager for this year's Nationals. I will be working closely with Liz, Francois and the Axion team as well as our HJ for Nationals, David Lyford-Smith during the selection process.

Nationals is fast approaching and it's looking to be one of the biggest and best events that England has ever seen! We are going to need a large and dynamic judge staff to handle not only the logistics of a two format main event but also a whole load of exciting side events including two of Axion's famous Mega events!

As always Axion are looking for judges willing to go above and beyond to provide a great experience for players.

ROLES AVAILABLE + COMPENSATION

You are welcome to apply for as many days/roles as you are interested in. Please be aware that some key roles may be assigned before the application deadline, so if you're really keen to do something specific get your application in early.

Mega Modern HJ (Experienced L2+) - 2 Boxes
Mega Legacy HJ (L2+) - 1.5 Boxes
Side Events Manager (L2+)
Veterans Nationals HJ (L1+)
Modern Pick Up PPTQ HJ (L2+)
Second Chance Sealed HJ (L1+)
Floor Judge/ Team Lead

The basic compensation rate for all judges is 1 box per day with an additional box available each day is player attendance thresholds are met. Any roles that give additional compensations only give the additional compensation for the day of that event. There will also be a lunch allowance for each judge on each day.

Due to the new, exciting and unpredictable nature of such a large Nationals event we will be assuming that all applicants are able to take up a Standby role. All standbys are eligible to receive free entry to either Nationals (if they are qualified) or the Mega Event on the day they are standby for, or a quantity of side-event credits to be determined closer to the time. HOTEL

There are some rooms pre-booked for judges at the Holiday Inn Express, very close to the venue, these rooms are around £40-£45 per person based on two judges sharing. If you would like to take up this offer please select Room Sponsorship on your application.
