Brothers Grim is looking for one judge to run the "Learn to play Magic: The Gathering!" Open House and a followup Casual Standard Tournament

Compensation is 5x of the Promo Hour of Devastation Foil Full-Art Lands, and unlimited snacks and drinks.

Learn to play Magic: The Gathering!

Casual Standard Tournament at 5pm!

This new event encourages casual fun for new players and easy, league-style Standard play with a participation promo reward! Players of all levels, come together to learn and play Magic, and look ahead to the next exciting release in the Amonkhet block —Hour of Devastation! New players will be introduced and welcomed to the game and the Magic community with learn-to-play sessions, using the Welcome Decks that will be provided. Veteran players are also invited! Join the fun by bringing a friend or helping to teach new players! The day will progress into a casual Standard event that encourages new players to test their decks and meet the community!

Players who participate in the Open House of the event will be rewarded with one of the premium promo full-art basic lands (while supplies last). Promo basics will be awarded randomly based on priority to: new players, then to veteran players who brought a new player, then to other participants. If we run out of the premium promo full-art basic lands, don’t worry! Other promos will be available, and everyone will receive a promo!

Enjoyed your foray into Standard? Consider joining the Standard Showdown: Amonkhet event at 6:00pm! It is $5 to enter, and has 1.5 Amonkhet packs per person entered into the prize pool. Showdown packs will also distributed: 5 randomly and 4 to the highest-placing finishers!
