Madison Judge Conference

On behalf of USA North, we are happy to invite all judges and those interested in becoming a judge to this conference.  This will be a chance to take part in some great presentations and seminars on all aspects of judging, as well as to learn from and build connections to other judges from through the area.

The event is open to all judges, as well as those who have begun working toward L1. Foil support is based on being a certified judge prior to the close of applications, however.  

It will be held at the Sheraton Madison Hotel, on August 19th-20th.  We encourage folks to attend the whole conference, as many of the Sunday workshops will be follow ups from Saturday's presentations.  If you can only attend for one day, just let us know in your application. Similar to the Minneapolis conference last year, you only need to attend one full day for a full foil packet. Attending both days provides no additional foils.

Our big needs/wishes for presenters are on Sunday. If you attended or heard about the Leadership conference during the Winter, our Sunday sessions will be similar. Small discussion groups with focused topics, designed to get people involved and connected with hands-on discussions of important topics.

All topics on both days will have variable size. We have four total rooms, with a max capacity in the big room of 120. So there is plenty of space for any kind of presentation - if you have something that works great with a smaller group, we are super interested, and would love to have several of those kinds of presentations if possible.
