Nederlands Kampioenschap 2017 (Dutch Nationals)

Magic United is organising the National Championship 2017 Magic the Gathering in The Netherlands.

It's going to be a wild festival with loads of Side Events. Of course the Main Event will the big prize with Standard and Boosterdraft!!

We're looking for a large number of good, enthusiastic and proud judges. For Main Event we'll only be selecting L2+ judges. For side events we'll be selecting L2 judges and some L1 judges with Competitive REL experience. 

Not every detail is available yet, which includes the exact times for your shift. We expect you to be available from 9AM till 11PM on both Saturday and Sunday (note: your exact shift will be much shorter than that). People who speak Dutch will have preference over people who don't. You will be required to bring your full judge attire of shirt, shoes, pants and belt (all black). 
If selected you will receive eternal fame and 1 boosterbox (36 packs) per day of work. If needed, you will also receive a room for 1 night in the hotel (where the event will be hosted), which you will share with another judge. Please indicate your need for this in your cover letter. (There will be no alternate compensation for not taking the room-sponsorship.)
Food and drink will be provided during the hours that you're working.
Next to this, you will be eligible for travel compensation based on receipts. 
We're also looking for some Stand By judges. As Stand By judge you will also receive room sponsorship, but you will only be activated if the number of players is high enough. In which case you will receive the full compensation as described above. When not activated, you can play any 1 event of your choice during the weekend. 
Selections will be determined by our TO (Martijn Korevaar), your RC (Richard Drijvers) and our HJ (Teun Zijp). Applications are accepted until the 1st of August and selections will be published on the 7th of August.
