Canadian Nationals presented by FacetoFaceGames.com

FacetoFaceGames.com is proud host Canadian Nationals; a mixed format event over three days, October 13th, 14th, and 15th.

Event Overview

In addition to the main event we are providing a full weekend of magic with a FacetoFaceGames.com Open+ on the Sunday, and PPTQ events on both days. We will also be running commander pods, side drafts, and win-a-box events. We are expecting 500+ players on Saturday, 350+ on Sunday.

Judges will be scheduled for either a morning or evening shift on both days. Morning judges will be expected to be on site no earlier than 8:30am, evening judges will be released no later than 11:00pm. (These estimates are just for your scheduling purposes)

We're looking for judges of all levels. All judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused, with the possibility of spending some time handing Regular REL side events. Judges staffed on Friday will be expected to assist with setup. Judges staffed Sunday evening will be expected to assist with teardown. 

Application Information

Judges staffed at full sponsorship will receive their choice of either $150 cash or $200 in store credit from Face to Face Games for each day.

We are also interested in stage staff for this event, to assist with scorekeeping, event registration, and prize wall. Stage staff will be compensated based on experience and position. In addition to applying through judge apps, we as that those interested in stage staff work please contact Graham Schofield privately to discuss your compensation and role.

Standby

We are also looking for standby judges for Saturday and Sunday. If you wish to apply to be a standby judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event or a side event of choice for free if they are not needed to judge. If attendance exceeds our expectations the standby judges will be activated to staff and will be compensated as a full sponsorship judge. If you wish to play in the main event as a standby judge, you must still meet the minimum Planeswalker Point requirement for the event.
