Danish Nationals

In the weekend of September 8th to 10th the tournament organiser Fanatic would like to invite you to participate in a celebration to Magic in Denmark. With the return of Nationals we expect a great weekend, not just with the main event, but side events as well, and we need judges that share our goal of providing great customer service to players.

Schedule

The complete schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Friday

• Standard Trials (32 player single elim.)
• Standard Qualifiers (32 player single elim.)
• Team Sealed FNM

Saturday

• Danish Nationals (Standard/Draft split format)
• Modern (PPTQ)
• Standard Showdown
• Old School
• On Demand Events

Sunday

• Danish Nationals Top 8
• Sealed (PPTQ)
• Vintage
• On Demand Events

Nationals and the PPTQs are run at Competitive Rules Enforcement Level.

We expect to need a lot of both L1 and L2 judges to facilitate all of these tournaments. Friday we will need at least one full staff judge to run Trials/Qualifiers starting at 14:00, and two standbys for "half-shifts" starting in the late afternoon.

Compensation

The compensation for the Friday half-shift, if activated, will be half a box of Hour of Devastation and dinner.

The compensation for all judges per shift is:

• 1 box of Hour of Devastation
• Meals and drinks during the day

If you are Standby for Friday and not activated you will play one Trial or FNM for free and still get dinner between rounds. Standbys for Saturday/Sunday that are not activated can play an event of their choice for free.

If support for travel is needed you can apply for Travel Sponsorship. Please indicate what you need in travel sponsorship to make the event feasible for you.

Expectations

You are expected to be at the site at the time of your shift, in the appropriate judge attire of judge shirt, black pants and black shoes. We expect that you have some familiarity with the Infraction Procedure Guide at the time of the weekend. While working you will participate as an active part of a larger team with other judges, coverage and the TO staff. Be it for other judges, TO or players we expect you to be service minded and helpfull. And most of all we wish for you to have fun!
