Northwest Fall Judge Conference 2017

Overview

Cascade Games has graciously offered some of the convention space for this years NorthWest Fall Judge Conference. Please join us on Thursday, November 16th and stick around to enjoy GP Portland.

All Certified Judges are welcome to register for this conference by applying to this JudgeApps event. The deadline for registration is October 1st. Certified judges who have registered by this date and attend a seminar during each time slot will receive a package of foils. If you are not a certified judge or you wish to join us after the deadline has passed, you are welcome to attend the conference but will not receive any foils.

Schedule

12:30pm to 6pm

We will be opening with a keynote address and running a number of concurrent sessions throughout the day. Each session will be about 45 minutes and there will be topics useful to all levels of judges each hour.

Cover Letter

I take writing cover letters very seriously as it has a large impact on your ability to work events. Please do yourself a favor and take the time to write a serious cover letter.

Testing

Testing will be available at the conference and throughout the weekend and we are happy to test you. Please note that L0s testing at this conference are not eligible to receive foils even if you pass your test but we would still love to have see you. Presenting

We will primarily be staffing presenters by reaching out to people for the specific topics we are interested in seeing presentations on. If you feel you have a topic of specific value to present, please contact Marc DeArmond via email.

Dinner

After the conference we will be gathering for dinner. (Location TBD). Please join us for this time of comradery and probably some Magic.
