Judges Required

This is a solicitation for the RPTQ held by Murphy's Vault in Edinburgh. The following positions are required (include which positions you're applying for in your cover letter):

Saturday
LCQ head judge (L2+)
LCQ floor judge/side events judge
1 Standby

Sunday
RPTQ head judge (L3)
2 RPTQ floor judges

You must be a certified judge, and competitive REL experience will be required for RPTQ judges. All judges will be expected to be familiar with the Modern format, including knowledge of most common decks and the current list of banned cards.

There are Standard and Commander side events planned for the Saturday, and Ixalan drafts will be available on the Sunday.

Compensation

The compensation for this event will be one booster box of Ixalan per day for activated judges; standby judges who are not activated will gain free entry to the LCQ or side event of their choice.

The RPTQ head judge will receive an extra booster box in addition to the above compensation.

Timing and Availability

Saturday - The LCQ head judge is expected to be on site at 10:00am. All other judges should be present and available by 10:30am.

Sunday - All judges should be present from 10:00am.

If you have any restrictions on when you can arrive, or how late you are able to stay, please state this in your application.

This will be at the discretion of the selected L2+ judges. Please get in touch if this is something you are interested in.

Finally

Please include your favourite commander in your cover letter.

If you will be travelling for this event, please get in touch if you would like some form of accommodation to be arranged, as there are a number of local judges who may be able to assist with this.
