FNM Draft - Uncle's Crossroads

SUMMARY

Local game store seeking friendly Magic TO who is looking for a regular gig. One of our regular FNM judges is stepping down, so we need someone else to help out. We run FNM as a booster draft from 6pm to 10pm. If you've never been to the Uncle's Games in Crossroads Mall, feel free to stop by to check it out or talk to us about FNM. Oren Firestein is one of our regular FNM TOs. Zach Robinson is leaving us; he will be missed!

This gig is open now - the date does not reflect an actual start time. We are looking for someone who can start within the month. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The FNM judge is expected to wrangle players with announcements, hand out packs and promos, help players who've never drafted before breifly (we have lots of regulars who help as well), scorekeep, and handout/record prize packs. We're basically looking for a one-person judging machine, as employee(s) are usually quite busy with mall traffic and customers. 

TIMING

This is a recurring event, every Friday night (minus several weeks out of November/December) from 6pm to ~10pm. Judge should arrive around 5:30pm to start preparations. We are looking for someone who can take this on as a regular gig. You will usually alternate judging Fridays with Oren Firestein, but we are flexible and make a schedule a month in advance to accommodate your and his schedule.

COMPENSATION

Our compensation rate for judges for regular events like this is 1 pack for every 3 players per night (or a minimum of 6 if there are less than 18 players). Our FNMs are usually around 30 people; expect each Friday to pay out 7-12 packs. Most of our judges keep a tab open for judge pay from FNMs, prereleases, and other events, which can be cashed out from the store at any time either for packs or a gift card with equivalent value.
