SCG Season Two Regionals

Hello prospective staff!

In partnership with Star City Games, Nerd Rage Gaming is hosting the Chicagoland SCG Regional event on November 4th, 2017. Please feel free to send me an email if any of the following doesn’t answer your questions!

General Notes:

• The Judge Manager for this event is Max Kahn.
• The Head Judge for this event is Jason Lauborough.
• The Scorekeeper for this event is Nick Gajary.

What we are looking for:

• 1 Head Judge
• 1 Scorekeeper
• 6 Floor Judges
• 1-2 Standby Judges (will receive free entry into the event if not called up to judge)

Floor Judge Compensation:

• Food stipend for lunch + free beverages and snacks.
• 1 Ixalan Booster Box or $100 Credit with Nerd Rage Gaming
• 5 NRG Judge Rewards Points
• An awesome experience judging a large MTG event!

Head Judge/Scorekeeper Compensation:

• Food stipend for lunch + free beverages and snacks.
• Please email max@nerdragegaming.com if you are interested in applying for either of these positions to inquire about monetary compensation.
• 10 NRG Judge Rewards Points

Reminders:

• Judges are expected to arrive by 8:30 AM (10AM start) in their “judge blacks” (Black pants, black shoes, black belt, and black dress shirt - preferably with Magic Judge logo)
• Since this is a Compeitive REL event, judges should be familiar with the Infraction Procedure Guide.
• Testing for prospective Level 1s will be available. Please e-mail max@nerdragegaming.com to inquire.
