CZ & SK Winter Judge Conference
The 2nd CZ & SK judge conference in 2013, organized by Tomas Kriz and Jaroslav Karban, will be very soon !
The Judge Conference is open to everyone, but is very usefull to speak sufficient Czech (or Slovak) as most of seminars will be in Czech.
Judges not fluent in one of these languages must speak English sufficient to operate in discussions.
Schedule
The Judge Conference will be held from 18:30 on Friday (13.12.2013) until Sunday 16:30 (15.12.2013).
Exact schedule and content to be announced; Everything may be subject to modification at a later point.
These topics will be presented:
- lvl 1 requirements and how to work with new judges in our community
- Why to use judge apps
- Contact list of judges in our region
- Giving Feedback that works + self improvement is a real thing
- Penalty fishing...
- slow play
Charges:
About 15 EURO for night and all-day food.
The conference is without sponsorship.
Do not forget:
Take your Commander or Tower deck with you and some sleeves for night-drafting. There is not internet at the venue.

If you are interested in presenting a seminar please say so in your application and email krizt@centrum.cz and j22@volny.cz, untill Thursday (11. 12. 2013) 16:00.
If you have something you wish to talk about, problem within the player community, or something related to judging, please bring the topic with you to the conference - i am sure we can squeeze few debates into the schedule. That includes rules and policy topics.
