GP Liverpool 2017 Community Team

What's this about?

Sunday of GP Liverpool is New Community Team: Episode II, Attack of the Community Team, led by Jack Doyle as the RC for the UKISA region.

We're looking to build a welcoming, fun environment for:

• Players to test their rules knowledge at the Judge Booth.
  
  
• Judges and players to test for Level 1 and Level 2 as appropriate (preferably arranged in advance).
  
  
• Providing a conduit for players to talk to and interact with judges from the UKISA region.
  
  
• Cornering judges on the floor for a debrief and discussion (commonly referred to as a "two-on-one")

I have to spend all day with Jack? Ugh...

Anyone may apply to help out, for as long or as short a time period as they would like - we're only running this on the Sunday of the GP, probably starting from around 10:00am and going until I pass out from Maoam stripe overdose.

If you have an hour to spare, dip your head in; if you're not on staff for the event and want to hang out in a more concrete role for the day, don't hesitate to offer that in your cover letter or by message to Jack.

If anyone can lend the use of tablets or other cool things to make this a more interesting experience, I also want to hear from you.

This event is primarily for judges of the UKISA region not on staff on Sunday; although anyone who can take care of Level 2 testing throughout the day may be helpful regardless of region.

Dress code?

Dear god, please wear clothes.

What's in it for me?

The undying love and affection of Jack. At a minimum, I'll keep you alive with caffeinated beverages and low-nutrition "food" (thanks, FDA) such as Maoam Stripes. Lunch is on me.

We'll also try to work something out for people who commit long and gruelling hours for the Cause.

Why on earth would I do this?

It's fun! Fun is mandatory. Did I mention? That's above your clearance level, citizen.
