Hi Judges!
Le Valet d'Coeur, L'Expédition, and Collect Edition are looking for some keen staff for the Festival de Magic de Montréal 2018! Following the success of last year's event, they have decided to go even bigger and better: this year's event will be held at the Palais de Congres!

Judge Requirements

One judge will be staffed on friday from 14:00-23:00
On Saturday the staff will be divided into two shifts. Early shift will start at 9:30 and end at 18:30. Late shift will start at 14:00 and end at 23:00.
The Sunday shift will be from 9:30 to 18:30.
As a judge, you are expected to:
- Be up to date on all Standard set mechanics and interactions (see the Release Notes for each set) as well as all required documents for judging at Regular and Competitive REL (IPG, MTR, JAR). Familiarity with Modern rules interactions is also preferred.
- Wear proper judge attire (Magic Judge shirt or black button-down shirt, black slacks or cargo pants (no jeans), and comfortable shoes).
- Contribute to the success of our events and have a positive and helping attitude toward players, staff, and partner stores.
Note: When staffing for Saturday and Sunday, preference will be given to judges with a good history of Competitive REL judging. Less experienced judges should consider applying for Friday, where all events are run at Regular. If you do not have Competitive REL experience, but would like to judge on Saturday or Sunday, please indicate this in your application, and provide the name of your L2+ mentor judge as a reference.
Note: Strong preference is given to judges fluent in French over those who are not.
Compensation

L2+ – $150 cash or $225 credit (per day staffed)
L1 – $100 cash or $150 credit (per day staffed)
- free entry into any one event during the day (excluding team sealed or the sealed PPTQ); or
- cash compensation equal to the entry fee of any event held that day (excluding team sealed or the sealed PPTQ).
Applications are open until March 11th!
