1k GPT Paris

Hello judges,

We're looking for a team for a 1k Legacy GPT for GP Paris on Saturday 26 January.

Outpost Legacy 1k are medium to large events offering store coupon and attracting competitive players from the region. They are one of the best occasion to judge in a team, so if it is something you'd like to do, or even to HJ with a team of judges, you should apply for this event.

As usual for competitive events, any level of judge can apply, but IPG knowledge is mandatory, and HJ positions are for L2+.

The number of players is usualy quite hard to estimate, as we had anything for 30+ to 90+ in a single event, and the fact that this one is also giving byes for GP Paris could have an impact on the attendance, but also the fact that a lot of events are taking place in the area the same day. For this reason, the Spare Judge system will be used: if you'd like to play one of this events in case there are less than 64 players, don't hesitate to use this opportunity and apply as a "Standby" judge!

Compensation chart is the same as usual:
 
* Total Judge compensation Pool: store credit of 2 €/player (up to a maximum of 240 € per event),
* The pool will be divided by the HJ between judges based on specific responsibilities before, during and after the event,
* The store credit can be accumulated from event to event but is only valid in the store where it has been earned. It can be used on any purchase (events, food, drinks, singles, products, etc.),
* Transportation cost cash for L3+ Judges based on train ticket,
* Food Benefit: 1 Free Meal/Judge during the tournament if 7 rounds + Free Water all day,
* 2 Free Meals/Judge during the tournament if 8 rounds + Free Water all day,
* Judges are not allowed to play in the event that they are judging,
* A spare judge system will also be used: after the TO's expected number of player has been communicated to the Head Judge, a 20% increase will be added to that number and if the total results in an extra judge needed, it will be provided accordingly. That Judge will be considered as a spare judge so if he is eventually not needed for judging purposes, he will be able to play in the event for free.
* The number of judges necessary for events will follow the recommended WOTC chart (the Judge level required may vary according to the event)
