I am looking for one judge to act as standby for this event, in case attendance is higher than anticipated.

This is a good opportunity for anyone interested in either playing or in getting more experience with competitive REL.

The standby judge would be staffed if attendance was 33 or more players (at the cut into 6 rounds). If there were 32 or fewer players, the standby judge would not be activated. I expect attendance to be about 25 players - if that is accurate, the standby judge would be free to play in the event or do anything else they wished.

Applicants should be able to be on site by 11:30 AM at the latest, prepared to work a ~8 hour shift if needed. They should also bring a change of shirt, so that if not activated they are not wearing the judge uniform all day.

Compensation will be 6 packs of Ixalan if not staffed, as a thank you for flexibility. If 33 or more players show and the standby judge is activated, compensation would instead be 36 packs of Ixalan.
