FacetoFaceGames.com March Toronto Open+

Face to Face Games is proud to announce our next FacetoFaceGames.com Open+ in Toronto. This tournament is being held at The Montecassino Hotel and Event Centre on March 3rd. The head judge for this event is Jason Wong.

This event features $5000 in main event prizes plus a legacy side event, side drafts, and win-a-box events. We are expecting 160+ players. 

Call Time

Judges call is at 9:00 AM to assist with setup, and judges will be expected to stay until at least the end of the Swiss rounds and assist with cleaning and teardown. Based on typical attendance we expect the swiss to end around 7:00pm, but be prepared to be there until 8:00pm.

All Judges Welcome

We're looking for judges of all levels. Judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused.

If you're not as experienced with those things, please apply as a volunteer, and we will be happy to help you grow within the judge program. Applying as a volunteer will increase your chances of being accepted. 

Compensation

All staff for this event will provided with lunch.

Judges staffed as volunteers will receive their choice of either $75 cash or $125 in store credit from Face to Face Games.

Judges staffed as full sponsorship will receive their choice of either $150 cash or $200 in store credit from Face to Face Games.

Judges staffed as appeals judge will receive their choice of either $200 cash or $260 in store credit from Face to Face Games.

Judges staffed as head judge will receive their choice of either $250 cash or $330 in store credit from Face to Face Games.

Applications

Please fill out all questions in the application seriously. 

We are also looking for one standby judge. If you wish to apply to be a standby judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge. If there are 180+ players in the event, the standby judge will be activated to staff and will be compensated at full sponsorship.
