Event Information
The Investigations Challenge is a monthly get-together for Judges to practice their investigations skills.
How does it work?
Judges will get paired with a partner as Floor Judge/Head Judge. They'll answer a call, investigate the scenario, come to a ruling and be provided feedback. Everyone will have a chance to participate in at least one scenario, maybe two if we have a small crowd.
Who's invited?
Judges of all levels and experience. This is designed to give you a chance to practice your investigations skills and add some new tools to your toolbox to use at your next event, whether that's FNM or a Pro Tour.
What time and how long will it go?
We'll try to start around 7pm and go for about two hours. If you need to arrive later or leave earlier, that's no problem.
Are there foils?
Nope!
Yes! Eventually!
Here's the way this works: if you attend 5 Mid-Atlantic Microconferences this year, that Voltrons into a full conference and gets you a foil packet, just like attending a one-day, five-session conference. Investigations Challenges will count, as will some other TBA conferences in our region.
In addition, I've got a bunch of Judge-branded swag from past events to give away.
