St. Louis Mock Tournament

Welcome to the application for another Central Region mini-conference!  This conference will be hosted by Moonbase Market, and will be foil supported.

This conference will be a mock tournament.  More experienced judges will act as players while less experienced judges act as floor judges and even head judge.  This will give less experienced judges the opportunity to practice their Comp REL skills in a fun environment where they can be shadowed and gain helpful feedback.

In addition, there will be some traditional conference presentations focused on Comp REL skills.

For those of you who haven't heard about the way Central Region conferences will be working this year, let me fill you in.  Instead of running a few large conferences for our region, we will be running a lot of little conferences, all with foil support.  Since the smaller conference model allows cities without a ton of judges to still have a local conference, we're hoping that more judges will be able to come out and learn with us.  Because our aim is to allow the most number of unique judges possible to attend a conference in 2018, we will be giving priority to judges who have not yet been accepted to a 2018 conference.  Keep in mind, should you be planning to attend a conference closer to your city at a later date, by getting foils at this conference, you will be less likely to get them at that closer conference later.  But, if you just want to come to a bunch of conferences to hang out with great judges and learn from interesting and informative presentations, and you couldn't care less about the foil support, feel free to come to as many as you'd like.
