FaceToFaceGames.com Edmonton Open+ - Modern (5K)

EVENT INFORMATION

Face to Face Games is proud to announce our next FacetoFaceGames.com Edmonton Open+ to be held at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center in Edmonton. 

This awesome event features $5,000 in main event prizes, as well as $10 drafts ‘till you drop, $10 constructed pods and $5 commander pods. The cap for this event is 226 players. In addition, the Top 2 competitors will be awarded an invitation to the Season 1 SCG Invitational as weel as a $400 travel stipend.

The Head Judge for this event will be Abeed Bendall.

CALL TIME

Judges will be expected to be on site and ready to work at 9:00 AM so we expect you to arrive by 8:30 AM. You will not be required to assist setting up the hall but expect some light tasks in the morning like setting the table numbers, placing pairing boards, etc. You are required to stay until at least the end of the Swiss rounds and assistance with cleaning and breakdown is expected. Based on previous events, you can expect the Swiss rounds to end around 7:00 PM but please note that the actual finish time might be different.

ALL JUDGES WELCOME

We're looking for judges of all levels. Judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused. As this is Modern event, being familiar with the format and all the interactions involved is highly recommended.

COMPENSATION

Judges staffed as Floor Judges or Scorekeeper/Side Events will receive their choice of $150 cash or $200 in online store credit.

Judges staffed as Assistant Head Judge will receive their choic of $200 cash or $250 in online store credit.

Judges staffed as Head Judge will receive their choice of $250 cash or $330 in online store credit.

We are also looking for two standby judges. If you wish to apply as a standby judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge. Standy judges will be activated once we reach the 120 and the 180 players marks and once activated, you will be compensated as a Floor Judge.
