Arcanis 20K

Hola jueces,

Estamos encantados de abrir las aplicaciones para el Arcanis 20k, el mayor torneo fuera del circuito realizado hasta la fecha en España.

Las aplicaciones para este evento estaran abiertas hasta el 7 de Febrero ya que queremos anunciar el equipo sobre el 15 de Febrero. Si teneis alguna pregunta, contactadme en Ch0b3t@gmail.com

La primera edicion del Arcanis 20k tendrá lugar entre el 18 y el 20 de Abril. Esperamos más de 250 jugadores para un gran fin de semana de magic, y estamos buscando entre 10 y 12 Jueces para llevar los 8 torneos que se realizaran durante el largo fin de semana. ¿Que estamos buscando?

Estamos buscando Jueces principales, Jueces de piso y 1 Scorekeeper.
Saber más idiomas que Español sera apreciado a la hora de la selección. Por favor, cualquier idioma que no sea Ingles o Español incluidlo en vuestra aplicación. 

Juez de piso:
Dado que la mayoria de eventos son de REL Competitivo, preferiremos aplicaciones de niveles 2+, sin embargo, no dudeis en aplicar aunque no cumplais este requisito.

Juez Principal: Queremos que los HJ de los 3 Main event (PTQ+Legacy+Modern) sean L3. De los demás eventos podran ser HJ L2 experimentados. Si quereis ser juez principal de algun evento, por favor incluidlo en vuestra aplicación.

Scorekeeper: Buscamos un Scorekeeper experimentado que sepa usar DCIR para llevar todos los eventos.

Expectaciones:

Esperamos que nuestros jueces esten al día de todos los documentos de Reglas. Especialmente en MIPG, para dar a los jugadores un gran servicio.

Esperamos que los jueces trabajen de manera profesional incluyendo cuando no esten trabajando. 

Aunque haremos lo más posibles para que los turnos de trabajo sean más soportables, tened en cuenta que seran días largos con torneos de 9 rondas más Top8.

Compensación:

Jueces L1 y L2 obtendrán 210€ por los 3 días, hotel y dietas.
Jueces L3 y Scorekeeper obtendran 300€ (o 4 Cajas), hotel y dietas.

Sponsor de Viaje

En casos especiales, otorgaremos alguna ayuda al viaje para gente que venga de muy lejos, si quieres acceder a el, por favor ponlo en tu aplicación.

Habitación:

Todos los jueces que acudan al evento tendrán el Hotel pagado por parte del proyecto Arcanis, de Jueves a Domingo, si alguien tiene la necesidad de quedarse tambien el Domingo allí, habrá algunas plazas para estas personas.

"Stand-by"

Dado que no sabemos la cantidad de gente que acudira al evento y queremos dar la mejor cobertura posible, ofrecemos alguna posición de Standby. Este juez tendrá que acudir al evento, y en caso de que no haya suficiente gente para que arbitre, podra jugar todos los eventos gratuitamente. (Es posible que se le pueda seleccionar para arbitrar tan solo alguno de los días que haya más afluencia).

Hello Judges,

We are pleased to open application for Arcanis 20k, the biggest tournament outside the circuit ever made in Spain.

Arcanis 20k first Edition will take place from Friday, April 18th to April 20th in Torrelavega, Spain. During these 3 days we are expecting more than 250 players and we're looking for 10-12 Judges to run the 8 scheduled tournaments. You can find the details here:

Who do we look for?

We're looking for Head Judges, Floor Judges and 1 Scorekeeper
Knowledge of other languages other than English and Spanish is aprecciated. Please include it on your application.

Floor Judge:

Since the vast majority of our events will be run at REL Competitive, we will strongly prefer applications coming from L2+ judges. However, if you are L1, feel free to apply, we may have a coulple spots left for you.

Head Judge: We want the HJ of the 3 Main events beeing L3s (PTQ+Legacy+Modern). Smaller tournament HJ positions will be avaiable to experimented L2s. Please specify it in your application.

Scorekeeper: We're looking for an Scorekeeper with knowledge on working with DCI-R

Expectations:

We expect our judges to be up-to-date with the latest Comprehensive Rules, Tournament Rules and especially the latest MIPG version. Our Main Events offer significant prizes and we aim at giving out players the best possible play experience.

We expect judges to behave professionally at al times, including when they are off duty: Remember that even without a Judge Shirt, you will still be perceived as a staff member.
Even if we will do our best to reduce the lenght of your shifts, please be aware these will be long days, as some tournaments are likely to last 9 Swiss rounds. 

Compensation:

L1 & L2 Judges will be granted 210€ + Hotel + Food Money for the whole weekend.
L3 Judges & Scorekeeper: will be Granted 300€ (Or 4 Boxes of product) + Hotel + Food Money for the whole weekend.

Travel Sponsorship

In special cases, we will provide a part of the travel cost to people who come from far away, if you want to have this sponsorship, please include it in your application.

Room Sponsorship:

All the judges comming to the Arcanis20k will have Room Sponsorship from Thursday to Sunday. If someone needs to stay there until Monday, there will be some slots for this judges.
