PTQ Journey Into Nyx - Stansted

Hey there! 

I am happy to be able to announce the opening of applications for the Stansted Journey Into Nyx PTQ, to take place at Stansted airport on March 8th 2014. The TO for this event is Xtreme Trades, with Kim Warren as head judge Lee Wood as scorekeeper. All event details are available here: http://www.xtremetrades.co.uk/PTQ/details.php

We are expecting about 240 players for this event (9 rounds), and so are looking for 7 more judges to fill out our judge team. Judges will be expected to arrive on site at 9am to prepare for a tournament start at 10am, and will be expected to remain on site until the start of the top 8. Lunch will be provided by the TO, and judge compensation will be your choice of a booster display or £75 store credit. 

Additionally, we are looking for up to 3 standby judges for this event. Standby judges will have free entry into the PTQ if they are not required on staff, or will be compensated normally if they are recruited. Due to the availability of preregistration for this event, standby judges may be contacted to join the main staff either in advance of the event or on the day.

If the event is large it may be split across two connected rooms. There will be a judge room available for the storage of belongings, breaks and deck checks. There will also be water available for judges. 

Applications for this event are open until February 1st. I aim to have the staff announced shortly after this so that judges are able to plan their travel at least a month before the event.
