Thank you for your interest in events at Victory Comics, the largest gaming space inside the beltway! We are looking for a number of judges to make our events a success, so please, read on to determine how we can work together.

Staff for this event will consist of:

One Head Judge

Format

This event is a Masters 25 Draft Day at Victory. We expect to have 60 players in the noon flight; there may be an additional flight depending on demand.  

Compensation

Judges on staff will receive their choice of one booster box of any in-print, standard-legal set or $135 in store credit per day worked, plus lunch and drinks while on duty. 

Expectations

Judges are expected to be on-site, in judge uniform, at 11:45 pm. Seatings will be posted at 12:03 pm, so if you are running late, please call the store so we can be prepared. 

Judges are expected to be familiar with the JAR, MTR and Comp Rules.

Expected uniform is either:

• Grand Prix Magic Judge shirt (or long-sleeve black dress shirt, if you don't have a Grand Prix shirt)
• Mid-Atlantic Judge Polo

Application Guidelines

Staffing for this event will prioritize level one judges. This event is a good opportunity for Level 1 judges to get experience running events.

Staff for all events will be announced within one week of the application deadline.
