Gamers Helping Gamers Modern Fundraiser

Welcome Judges!

Kirwan’s Game Store is looking for judges interested in judging at our annual Gamers Helping Gamers $2K fundraiser in Catskill, NY. We need a highly motivated judge staff that will make this a great event! This event directly helps students attend college and is a great way to give back to the community.

Compensation

We are looking for judges willing to donate their time to the Gamers Helping Gamers charity, and as such will not be providing monetary compensation. We will however cover most drinks and food during the event. If this doesn't work for you and you want to judge this event, we can discuss other arrangements. Please message.

Dress Code

Dress code includes a belt, a judge shirt, comfortable shoes, and black dress pants or skirt (or equivalent). Judges who do not have judge shirts will be offered a Kirwan's Game Store Judge polo. If it is difficult for you to assemble this outfit, please note it in your cover letter so we will have time to gather you a polo. Please include what size you would need. The polo’s run slightly small so please take that into consideration. 

Additional information

The doors to the public open at 8:00am and the event starts at 10:00AM.

The event will be attended by Jon Finkel and Tim McKenna. Format is Modern swiss with a top 8 cut.

• OLD SCHOOL 93/94 Tournament (no proxies, no reprints) - $30, Noon start time. 1st Place Oversize GP Liliana, the Last Hope card. Additional prizes TBD. 100% of entry is donated to GamersHelpingGamers!
