Event Information

Games Haven is proud to organize Singapore Nationals 2018 which will be held in Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre on 30th June - 1st July 2018.

It will be a two-day, mixed format event:
Day 1: 4 rounds Standard + 3 rounds Booster Draft(#1)
Day 2: 3 rounds Booster Draft(#2) + 2 rounds Standard, then cut to Top-8

Boosters used (in Main and Side Events) will be regular Dominaria (DOM) boosters (not-stamped)

In this selection, we are looking for minimum of 6 floor judges, we are not looking for any standby judges for now.

Working Days:

The application is open for certified Magic Judges of all levels. If you are L1, please describe your Competitive REL experience in the cover letter. You will also need to give us a L2+ for reference.

By default, judges applying for this event will be working both Saturday and Sunday, from 8am to 8pm. You can apply for one day only if you wish, please make the appropriate selection in the application. Judge attire will be required while on shift (black Judge shirt or SEA Judge polo, black pants/jeans). 

Judge Compensation:

The following is judge compensation, per day:
 
L1 : $40 + $0.50 per player at the main event
L2 : $50 + $0.60 per player at the main event
 
For example :
If Day 1 we have 200 players, L1 will get $140
Then Day 2 we have 100 players. L1 will get $90.
L1 will receive a total of $230 as compensation for the two days.
 
Meals will be provided during the event.
 
For non-Singaporean judges, compensation will be provided in the form of product (details to be worked out soon)
