Hunter Burton Memorial

Judges -

We are looking for additional staff for an exciting event on Saturday, March 22nd. The first annual Hunter Burton Memorial Magic Open will take place at the Fort Worth Convention Center in room 202 (top of the escalators).

The format will be Standard Constructed for the Swiss portion with a top eight Modern Masters booster draft. There is a $5000 dollar guaranteed cash payout for the top eight and a prize pool that includes 3 booster packs per player that will be awarded exclusively to players finishing 9th or lower.

Registration is from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Tournament begins at 10:00 am.

I would like to see the judge staff by 9:00 am.

HOW TO APPLY

If you wish to apply to judge this event, please apply here on judge apps! Because we wish to finalize the staff soon, the application window closes on Monday, March 10. The sooner you apply, the higher your chances of acceptance! In your application, please include the following information:

• Telephone number.
• Are you available all day including Top 8? If you need to leave early, when? (This will affect whether or not you are selected.)
• How many competitive REL (SCG IQs, PTQs, GPTs) events have you worked in the past twelve months?
• Any special requirements or information we should have.

COMPENSATION

Judges will receive either one box of Born of the Gods (level one judges) or two boxes of Born of the Gods (level two judges). Judges will also receive a commemorative t-shirt. Judges will receive a cash stipend of $40 that represents your lunch money and parking fee money for the day.
