Event Information
Join us June 23rd and 24th for the Ben Lavender Memorial Tournament Weekend. This event will have all proceeds donated to Ben's family as a result of medical bills left behind from his passing.
The main event Saturday is tentatively a Modern Magic: the Gathering tournament featuring Swiss rounds with a cut to Top 8. This will be ran at competitive REL, as it is an SCG IQ.
Sunday's main event will a Pauper Nerd Rage CTQ. It will also be competitive REL.
Main event start time is 10 am. More details to follow.
Side events will be available, both On Demand and Scheduled. We are looking for judges for both days. Applications will be accepted within 3 days after apps close. Please note which days you would like to work, as well as if you are interested in Head Judging either of the main events, or only interested in floor judging. If selected for floor judging, you could end up floor judging on the main event, working ODEs, or head judging a scheduled event.
We are asking for you to volunteer your time for this event, so please take that into consideration. A meal will be provided each day, more details to follow on other potential tokens of appreciation/compensation potential. This will be good experience for those looking for large competitive events.
Update: The TO has determined that he can compensate some, at a rate of 0.5 boxes/level/day worked.
