What's the fix when a player resolves Vaultbreaker, et.al., in the incorrect order? (drawing before discarding or, as Jason Riendeau put it, looting instead of rummaging?)

In the old IPG under DEC, you would leave the game state as is or perform a simple back-up, since it was “…the result or resolving…multiple-instruction effects in the wrong order.” However, that language no longer exists. Instead, HCE talks about “pending abilities on the stack” leading to a “legal outcome.” I'm not sure if the delayed discard would count a “pending ability” and I'm not sure if the draw, then discard outcome is close enough to correct to count as “legal.” Should we reveal a players hand if he draws before discard for Vaultbreaker? Does it matter if the error is caught before or after the player finally discards?

Hi!

I think trigger is not on stack.

If we read “ out-of-order sequence” MTR.

MTR 4.3 say: “An out-of-order sequence must not result in a player prematurely gaining information which could reasonably affect decisions made later in that sequence”

Can we continue resolving the trigger ? I think not, because trigger resolving is not legal and player won prematurely information.

The potencial of abuse is to hige for me.

So, we have 2 fix:

1) Player show his hand to a oponnent (fix thoughtseize)
2) Player can concede (if he want).

bye :D
