Some of you may know about some documents called the Judge classes; some others not. The idea was to have a summary with the key contents of the Comprehensive Rules that a candidate to L1 should know.
For a long time, the project has been on hold, so we gathered a group of spanish judges to update our version, and that's what we've been doing for a while. Now, with a version as updated as we've been able, we're looking forward to expand the project to multiple languages again.
The purpose of these projects is, first, to translate and updated english version of the Judge Classes to each MTG language. And second, to search for changes with every Comprehensive Rules and collection release, suggest changes to apply to the Judge Classes, revise them, update the documents, and then apply the update to each language version.
In order to do this, we need a lot of judges, at least four for each language (with German, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, and Russian as our targets ), preferably with a solid knowledge of English, in order to properly translate the documents from the Shakespeare language to each other, or to translate the changes we'll be periodically doing to the documents. So, you want to help? Wanna participate creating or updating this tool for mentors? State it below!
Please, be aware that the recruiting phase could take a bit of time. Please, be patient.
Edit:
For those you offer to translate to a language I hadn't talked about before: I just more or less listed the official languages we have in MTG cards, but as long as we can gather a group interested and capable to translate the english JC to their language, it's ok :)
Please, state if you wanna help with the translation part, or the update part. I'd also appreciate if everybody that has already given an answer could edit the post with that information. Thanks!
