Welcome back to the Conferences Blog!
This time we're bringing to you not one but two conference reports from different parts of the world. Both of them presented them earlier to the community in the last days of 2015 but they have graciously accepted to be hosted on our Conferences Blog, taking the time to review, correct and even re-write some parts of it so expect new things!

First we have Jeph Foster's "Hosting the Virginia Judge Conference at Battlegrounds" from his experiences as organizer of USA-MidAtlantic conference in September.

Secondly, David Záleský from Czech Republic brings us his side of the story of how Czechoslovak judge conference came to be and what he has learned to do and not to do again. You can see the whole story in his report: Organizing a Judge Conference – What can go wrong

Both articles provide excellent ideas and point of view from the organizer themselves so if you plan to organize a conference, mini-conference or just want to see the backstage of how these came to be, come and join us!

Many times, the most difficult thing to do in preparation for a seminar is identifying what you want to talk about. Getting a general topic is just the first step, but what exactly do we want to accomplish?

Things can only get better if people hear how to improve. Just like we do reviews for people, our presentations also need to understand how they are perceived and how to improve but… how do we do so?

George takes us on a new avenue of feedback, helping us to get tools to improve our seminars.
