From my experience, fresh L1s sometimes feel uncomfortable when asked to deal with Wizards Play Network's tournament software aka WER.

WPN have recently published the following tutorials on WER basics. If you feel like you could use that information, go ahead and enjoy. The first video is intended for TOs (how to sanction events etc) and the second one will show you basicson running an event.

By the way, it is possible to download and use WER even if you are not affiliated to a Local Gaming Store. Download it and, after the installation, run the program and select the offline mode on the login screen. This will allow you to run unsanctioned tournaments while following the official WPN algorithms (pairing, tiebreakers etc).
