Communication between players - choosing targets

Hello fellow judges! :D

Let's say that AP controls several creatures and 3 creatures with Protection from White.
He/she casts Eerie Interlude and declares: “I choose all the legal targets for this spell”.
Can it considered to be a correct way to communicate or not?
