print a seating from WER show nothing

Hello judges and scorekeepers,

In the past, the Print Seating is a kind of secret menu. Scorekeeper must click the Event tab in order to see the menu “the print >> Print Seating”

The few update before the current one fix the above problem. I can see the Print Seating without click the Event tab. However, during the last event I notice that I see nothing in paper after I click print a seating from WER. then, this week I have the same situation. What I did since last week, I click the Event tab and call print seating command again. and the seating look fine.

The current update still have this problem. This problem not much severe but still, I think it's a bug. Have anyone notice this problem so far? Any permanent solution always welcome.

Best Regards,
Smith

I've also encountered it. It is oddly fixed by just printing something else. Pairings, a player list, whatever. Then print your Seat All again and it will work fine.

On the same boat here on WER 4.1.0.419.

A workaround I found is to print the seating via the “Multi-Print” function. Creating seating and adding any of the Seating options (by Names, etc.) to the Selected Printouts can have the seatings acutally printed without having pairing the players first.

Thanks Jason for the Tip!

It happened to me last weekend, a pity I didn't find this post earlier :(

This also happened to me two weeks ago at a sealed GPT, but I just thought it was a bug with my computer or the printer. I'm using WER 4.1.0.419 also on a Lenovo U410 running Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) with all updates.

My solution was to create some fake pairing and post them as seating, then make new pairings after sealed pool registration.
