Test cool down period

Hi, hope this is the right area to post this question (on my phone so navigating is a tad difficult).

I'm an L1 from Conneticut, and am very interested in getting to L2. My question is about the L2 exams/practice exams cool down period. If I fail the L2 test/practice it says that it's a two month cool down, if I fail it again after the initial two months is it just another two month wait to retest or does the cool down period increase?

Thanks!

The cooldown between all tests except the Rules Advisor test should be the same. So every time you take an L2 Practice, there will be a 2 month cooldown.

Peter is correct. The only exam with an increasing period in the Judge Center is the Rules Advisor exam. The L2 Practice simply has the 2-month cooldown from when you last took the exam. (Note that you can ask an L3+ to generate an L2 Practice exam for you in advance of the normal cooldown. But this should be done sparingly as the English pool supports about 5-6 unique exams; other languages support less.)

Otherwise, I suggest using Hard Practice and Policy Practice exams to help with practicing/learning material, especially following my recommendations from the following thread…

Thank you guys! I've been taking Hard/Policy exams along with following my mentors advice on how to prepare.
