@lyle: The morph wasn't put into the graveyard yet. Nothing else happened. To me, that means combat damage hasn't fully resolved yet. I know it's kind of a fine line, but it's also Regular. When there is a fine line being toed at Regular, I try to fall on the “let players do what they are able to” side :).
