Player FAQ and HJ Instructions Documents

Hello, Judges. Thanks to the work of Alejandro Raggio and Nicola DiPasquale, we now have specific instructions for both players and judges AFTER a DQ has been issued.

http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/disqualification-process/

On this page you will find links to a Player FAQ which you should print and give to the player. You will also find a HJ DQ document which gives specific how-to instructions and things to do after you decide to DQ the player.

These documents are likely to appear elsewhere, but they will always be available on the judge wiki at the above link.

Take a look, and if you have any questions or suggestions, please contact me.

Thanks!!

Player FAQ and HJ Instructions Documents

Thanks to the work of Alejandro Raggio and Brian Hubble, the Player FAQ and HJ docs are now well-formatted on the Wiki. If you DQ someone, please refer to

http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/disqualification-process/

and check out the DQ'ed Player FAQ and HJ Instructions links near the bottom of the page. I strongly suggest that you print out the Player FAQ page and give it to the player, as it will save you time and explanations, and it is short enough that players won't get bored with it :)

I'd like to announce that we have these same documents available in Spanish as well.

The Spanish versions of these documents can be found at http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/disqualification-process-es/

I'd like to thank Sergio Perez Marcos, Jorge Requesens and Antonio Jose Rodriguez Jimenez for helping with the proofreading and making some valuable suggestions.

As regards other languages,

Italian: Laberto Franco is going to help by taking care of these, apparently the Italian team is already translating them or already has, but Lamberto will help me getting it published on the Magic Judges wiki as well.

French: Sophie Pages is taking care of this.

Other languages: if anyone is interested in helping us with translating these to your language, please contact me: araggio@gmail.com

Thanks!

We are moving these documents to the Official Resources page. English and Spanish are already available there (and there's a slight update in the HJ document: the email address to send a picture of the player's written statement has changed).

Both the Player Disqualification FAQ and the Head Judge Disqualification Procedure can be found at:
http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/disqualification-process/

Also, the Spanish versions are available at:
http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/disqualification-process-es/

We'll move the remaining languages' versions to the Official Resources blog soon.
