MIPG Changes and Judge Center content

Some of you may now just be seeing the news that a new MIPG has been released, and there's been a few changes here and there. With a new MIPG, content assigned to various exams has to be updated. That always takes a few days to do, but in the interim, all affected content has been paused for review, editing, and approval. This also gives a chance to double check for anything that needs to be changed and was overlooked.

That being said, if you generated any of the following exams for someone…

(1) Hard Practice
(2) Policy Practice
(3) Level 2 Practice
(4) Level 3 Preliminary

…and those exams still show a “Ready” status, it is strongly recommended that you cancel the exam and generate a new exam for yourself or the candidate. While the new MIPG doesn't go into effect until the 17th of July, it is best to generate a new exam where this content won't be present. (All exams are populated with content at the time the exam is generated.) That way, no one gets a question on something that might change. There's plenty of other content in the exam pools that are unaffected.

I will check for any “Ready” exams on the 16th, probably sometime in the afternoon EST, and cancel those accordingly. That way no one encounters an inaccurate question. That might also give me a chance to account for any questions affected by functional CompRules updates (should that be the case). Any potential renumbering of the CR is not considered a functional update for this purpose.
