http://www.nh-hotels.comDetailsThis event will be held on 16th and 17th of March 2013 with last chance trials being held on March 15th 2013. The format is Trios Sealed.
There are two types of sponsorship that you can apply for, volunteer and room sponsorship. When applying, please indicate ALL types of sponsorship you are willing to accept.
You may apply for either two or three days, we are not accepting judges for less than two full days. We will accept applications to judge on Friday and Saturday, Saturday and Sunday or all three days. You may not be selected for every day that you apply for. If you apply for Friday, you need to be available from 11.00 hours – so please make sure you are able to be on site at that time. If you apply for Sunday, you need to be available until 20:00 hours – if you need to leave earlier, please don’t apply for Sunday.
If selected for room sponsorship, your hotel room will be paid from Friday night to Monday morning. If you wish to stay longer, you have to make the arrangements yourself. You will share the room with another judge (unfortunately we can't accommodate staying with a spouse/friend, etc.). Additional room costs, food, taxis, etc. will not be paid for, but you will receive a food allowance each day you work.
Cover Letter In your cover letter please include these details: recent judge experience, judges/TOs that you work with regularly, country you live in (for insurance purposes), languages you speak to a reasonable degree, plus anything else you consider relevant.
Judge ConferenceThere will be a Judge Conference held on Friday 15th of March. If you're interested in joining this conference, please apply for it seperately in the correct event. The event link will be provided shortly.
NotesYou have a better chance of being accepted if you are an active judge in your community and you speak Dutch, German or French. Judges not fluent in one of these languages must speak English sufficient to operate in a tournament setting.
Please bring appropriate judging attire, including a black judge shirt and black trousers with belt. If you do not have a shirt, please indicate this in your cover letter so one can be provided for you.
Compensation depends on your level and the amount of days you work. In addition to the number of boxes outlined below, you will receive a package of judge foils (dependent of level). Compensation will be settled when the GP top 8 has started, and is given in English product of the current set.
Floor Judge L1 - 1 display per full day worked
Floor Judge L2 - 1.5 display per full day worked
Floor Judge L3+ - 2 display per full day worked
Judges performing special roles within the event may receive extra product.
