Judge Wiki Migration

Hey folks,

Big news: the Judge Wiki has moved to a new location. Please update your bookmarks to wiki.magicjudges.org!

Thanks to this server migration, we now have access to more automated tools for maintenance. The wiki has grown a lot over the years, and we're working on developing the infrastructure to make sure that content is up-to-date and easy to find!

One of the biggest growth areas for the wiki has been translated content. In order to support that continued growth, we now have a collection of language wikis. There is a link to each on the homepage of the Judge Wiki – below the search bar – so take a look around. Not all content has been transferred yet, but that's the next major step for the wiki. To see an example of how this functionality will work, take a look at the JAR and explore its language links: http://wiki.magicjudges.org/en/w/Judging_at_Regular_REL

Keep an eye out for an update from Christian Gawrilowicz in the coming weeks for a full report on the State of the Judge Wiki, including the future direction for content on the Judge Wiki.

Meanwhile, we could use some additional volunteers on the technical side. If you'd like to help out, and
* have experience with wiki administration (especially mediawiki) OR
* know PHP OR
* know JavaScript OR
* know Python OR
* have experience with using bots on wikis, e.g., pywikipediabot
… Please contact me at stagedtheology@gmail.com. We're looking for a small, committed group of volunteers with the right expertise.

Happy editing,
Tasha Jamison
