Introducing simple countdown timer

Hey Judges!

I often found myself having to display round timer on different computer than I'm running WER and I until now struggled to find a good internet-based one that would be simple to use and would take as much space as possible with no extra chaff.

To solve that problem, me and my colleague have developed a simple fullscreen timer which is especially convenient to use to run Magic events. It's been battle tested on two Nationals so far. For now it offers this basic functionality:
- pause/resume/reset
- edit time
- edit title (to write “ROUND 2” or “DECK REGISTRATION”).
- count up
- different colors for under one minute remaining and for counting up
- needs internet only when started, after that it works offline

You all welcome to use it at https://timer.balistos.com.

If you have ideas how to improve it, please feel free to comment here or open an issue on GitHub

A very very cheap trick I just discovered:

type “set timer 50 minutes” in Google, and see what happens.

The Google time unfortunately stops at 0 creating problems with time extensions.

Although its not for projector display, the “Multi Timer - Stopwatch Timer” app works great for android phone user.
The timer goes up after the time limit, and you can also set up multiple timers.

Since the initial request - “comment {about this app} here or … on Github” - is being largely ignored, this thread is now closed.

Jernej, thanks for sharing your work!
