When I am staffing an event on here, there is a comments field for each applicant. Who sees that? Is that for internal notes about applicants for admins to see only, or is it for communicating back to the applicant?

Admins, RCs, and Staff members see the comments. The applicants won't see the comments.

Here's the official list:

* Site admins (of which there are very, very few) can see anything on JudgeApps. We don't use that power except when someone reports a problem and we have to go look at something to figure out what went wrong.

* Regional Coordinators and L4+ can see applications and comments on all events, because they are – especially for GPs – very often consulted on and part of the staffing process.

* The Head Judge of the event (if selected in advance) can see applications and comments.

* The Tournament Organizer for an event can see applications and comments.

* Anyone designated by the TO as being event staff can see applications and comments.
