Currently, unless I'm wrong, the rules allow a player to replace a card that got damaged or lost with another copy of that card. Can a player tear up his super-pimp Arabian Nights mountain to replace it with another one and dodge City in a Bottle? - subbak

I would be very curious to see how the judge handled such a case. I’m betting we’ll never know.

I reopened this thread since policy now has a firm answer for this. Only cards originally printed in Arabian Nights would get destroyed and it would also affect reprints in future sets. Reclosing. :)
