Hello all! The Missed Triggers guide is back again with a new set. Kaldheim yielded only a single trigger that upgrades when missed, which was quite a shock. But there's still plenty for us to discuss: some cards that only narrowly miss the upgrade path, some with non-obvious remedies, and most importantly setting a precedent on how modal double-faced cards will be evaluated for triggers.

The tl;dr of that last bit: if a modal double-faced card has a triggered ability, we evaluate whether it is generally detrimental or not based only on the face that ability appears on; not based on both. This is different from how we evaluate transforming double-faced cards.
