My philosophy: To make a good presentation great, take out all the good until you're left with only the great.
To use a magic analogy, you may draft 24 good playables and consider playing 41 cards. Just remember while that 41st card may be good, it makes it harder to find your bomb.
I typically start by adding in everything I think is possibly relevant and then ruthlessly cutting it down to only the most important points. This has the added benefit of preparing me if the conversation turns towards an edge case I decided to cut. “Sideboarding” in content if you will.
