Hello,

I am looking for advice on how to handle a situation. I am the head judge of a new LGS. Due to a busy schedual, I have not been able to oversee the tournaments, help with WER, ETC.

Another player who said he was a judge has been bullying the store owner. He has been forcing all the events to fire on his time, while extorting promos and store credit out of the owner. What really alarms me is that today, I looked with the owner, and he is not a judge.

Is there any recourse we can take to prevent this player from doing this again? Should I talk to Zimet (My RC) about it?

TL; DR : Player lies about being a judge to make a new TO do what he says.

Your RC is the correct place to start.

However, once you find out how this guy was able to make a TO do what he wanted, please share. There are a lot of “I can't make my TO do what's necessary” threads.
(Kidding on that last part….mostly)
