Events missing in WER

Hello!

I remember there was once a thread here wherein events were missing in WER when it updated and someone had a fix to delete a certain file in order to trick WER into thinking it needed to perform a full synchronization. I wonder if anyone remembers that thread or how to perform this trick?

You may try to delete ReporterSettings.xml. Actually, you can remove value
of two parameter inside the xml, reporter last sync date but i can remember
name of the other one. It locate prior or next line. They close together.
Or simply follow instruction below. Hope this help.

· Browse to your folder where WER is stored:

o Wizards of the Coast\Event Reporter

· Make a backup of the file ReporterSettings.xml. (Save it to your
hard drive somewhere so you have the backup available if you need it.)

· Delete ReporterSettings.xml.

· Re-open WER to resync.

Let me know if that works for you or if you have any questions.

*Windows 7 or 8*

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Wizards of the Coast\Event Reporter

*Windows XP*

C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Wizards of the
Coast\Event Reporter
