Regional Coordinator Advisory Committee - announcement

Dear Magic Judges,

In an on-going effort to be responsive to the Magic judge community, Wizards of the Coast pleased to announce the creation of the Regional Coordinator Advisory Committee (“RCAC”).

The RCAC will be an independent committee composed of the Magic Judge Regional Coordinators and an elected member of the Magic Pro Tour Hall of Fame. The RCAC will act as a sounding board and outlet for judges around the world to voice their ideas, thoughts and concerns about Magic or the Judge Program. The RCAC also will advise Wizards and the Level 4 and 5 judges on issues arising from the Judge Program including education, knowledge management, judge and/or player sanctions, judge complaints, and general recommendations. We believe that the creation of the RCAC will add an important, independent voice to discussions that affect judges. Furthermore, we believe that having a player’s perspective on such matters will be of great value and help increase everyone’s overall enjoyment of Magic.

Judges will be able to submit direct feedback, ideas, thoughts and concerns to the RCAC email (the email address will be communicated after the RCAC is formed) and the RCAC will, in turn, review such feedback and provide direct recommendations and on-going input to the Level 4 and 5 judges and Wizards.
More details on the RCAC will be announced in the near future.

Sincerely,
Wizards of the Coast
