RPTQ Invite Clarification from WotC Premier Play Team

I had been asked by a few players, and even judges, how a players invite to an RPTQ is handled after winning a PPTQ. I had contacted WPN Retail Support on multiple occasions and received conflicting information. Today I was directed to contacted the Premier Play team directly, as they handle the invites. They replied with the information I needed, and gave me both permission and encouragement to share the following information to both players and judges. So here it is.

Preliminary PTQ winners will not receive anything directly. Once the PPTQ round is over and the event results are verified, a list of PPTQ winners will be posted to our website on a Regional PTQ invitation list. Since the PPTQ round ends February 22 and the Regional PTQs don't happen until April 25, winners should have plenty of time to make sure their names are on the list and contact us to correct any issues.

If a player does not appear on the list, or if they are having any issues with what email account their DCI number is associated with, they should contact our Game Support team by visiting http://www.wizards.com/customerservice and clicking Email Us. They will be instructed to log in (or click a link for additional assistance if they can't). This is where they will be able to activate and/or merge DCI accounts. They can also call Game Support at 1-800-324-6496.

Thanks for this, Adam. We had some questions to this effect at the end of our PPTQ, so I've shared this with my local player community.
