Judge articles gethering project

Hello all,
I had plan a new project which gethers all the projects (old projects especially) and put them into as much categories as posible in order to make people easy to find them. The main point of this project is based on the fact where many old articles is good but hard to find, and some of them is just take time to look though, which make it boring for people who don't knew much or new about the articles.

Any one can join this project as long you show your interest, and I'd like to hear any kind of discussion or question on this forum.

By join this project, you can also read many articles you have not read before, and by take you times to help us, that can make the readers take less time to use the web page.

Here are more discrption to my project

You mean something like this:
http://wiki.magicjudges.org/en/w/Judge_Article_Index ?
(compiled by Philip Schulz; he also posts a monthly summary of all
published articles here: http://apps.magicjudges.org/forum/topic/24601/ )

I suggest that you get in contact with Philip with your ideas.

Think for your information, but it seems different than the one what the one I am trying to creat.
My project is more like butting articles into a “ dictionary” with translation.
Or even some judge forums.

More an index by topic? So all articles on deck checks, for example, possibly sorted by date published?

Yes, but more then that.
Let's say deck chesks, which you had,
It wouldn't just be Comp REL>Deck checks
1 date
2 date

It would more like Comp REl>PPTQ>Summary
scenario Related to warning
Related to game lost
How to deal with it
>GP etc.
>PT etc.

originally language
country
writer's name
etc. for what I couldn't think of for now

Also I'm trying to gether as forums as possible because no one have done it before and some discussion is really good.

Actually sounds like you are wanting to beef up the wiki with real searchable content.

I'm sure the wiki would appreciate content producers/maintainers.

So I'm asuming if I'm trying to do something new, I only need to focus on judge forums.

I'm not sure what you mean by “only need to focus on the judge forums.

The judge program has two ”repositories" for information. The blogs and the wiki. Forums don't really count.

If you are looking to use an existing structure, it needs to be one of those two. If you want to create something new, go for it, but you are probably going to run into other problems.

Keep in mind if you plan to create something, be prepared to maintain it. That's where a huge number of judge programs fail; they create something and expect others to update it.

I'd like to chime in to say that this project (if I understand it correctly as a curated compilation of articles and other information on specific topics) does look exactly like something I would want to access on a wiki. Updating the wiki in this way would be awesome. =)

Basicly the“wiki” like to be my data pool for the first step, but I'm since I'm not using all the articles, it will be way diffirent. The idea of my project is to make people want to read more articles, so the discrption and the system itself would be persuasive and educated to newer judges. (plus, sorry for saying this, but wiki do looks boring Sometimes for those already dislike articles)
Also, I need more people to help.

Dominik, would you like to join this project?
